Sunday 30th Dec is earmarked for a 200K ride starting at Machynlleth where flat roads turn into a thing of the past.

| Welcome to Doug's weekend away around the foot-hills around Cader Idris and beyond - The ride starts from Pantperthog 3 miles from Machynlleth
If you can make it and have the energy - a Friday night ride starting from Plas Llwyngwern guest house at 19:00 - a 35 mile coastal excursion around Aber-Dyfi Tywyn and through Dysinni Valley and finally climbing back up and back through Corris.
Ideal setup for this weekend's activities
Doug's setup
On Saturday, 8:45 for 09:00 start, a 75 mile ride of lumpy climbs on quiet roads - with a Tea shop stop at Coed-y-Brenin visitor centre
Sunday - short sharp scenic ride with a Tea stop approx 50 miles - note if want a big breakfast - I will need to let the the owners know before hand
